Favorite Friday - Song Highlight of the Week ( Fight Song by Rachel Platten)

Yes we've have made it to Friday! As our weeks go by and life happens, sometimes it may seem as if we lose our fight. Through struggles we face or just simply stress, it is very easy to want to just throw in the towel and give up. We all face these issues. Many of us have been at rock bottom; I know I have. Facing these daily struggles, Fight Song came to mind this week. It's a very powerful song.  It simply reminds me of the things I have overcome and of the fight I have left in me. I love to listen to this song on bad days. It picks me right back up. I felt the need to share this with my followers as I hope it does the same for you. This song also reminds me of my poetry book Shattered Living coming out next fall. Writing Shattered Living has been my fight, and in many ways, my retaliation against my demons. We each need to find a way to fight. Whatever gives you the strength you need as the song says to "Take Back Your Life Song".  Enjoy, and have a wonderful weekend, my loves.

Favorite Friday-Song Highlight of the Week (Nothing Else Matters by Metallica)

Hey Loves,
Friday is finally here! As I reflect on this week so many things come to mind.  I realize we are often judged by choices we make on how we live our own lives, but two things we must remember is "Life is ours we live it our way" and "Forever trust in who we are" . Both quotes come from the song I chose this week by Metallica.  As I embark on this journey of becoming an author I must remind myself there will be critics.  I am not referring to reader critics, however; I am speaking of critics who do not believe in me or think I am wasting my time. My view on this is if one person can relate to my words I have done what I set out to accomplish.  My work comes from my heart and soul.  So my message to you on this fabulous Friday is to live life they way you want. Chase your dreams and talent; you only get one chance.  So listen to the words and ignore the negativity.  Be you. Happy Friday!
